Sister Sharien Muhammad is a former student of Muhammad University of Islam and Clark Atlanta University and an alumni of New York University , City University of New York and Argosy University. She has 14 years of experience as a certified school counselor practicing career counseling in urban school settings servicing high school students and their parents.

She is the founder of More Awareness Now! And the developer of the Career Success Program for Urban Youth aimed to aid educators, counselors, parents and students in their efforts to bring More Awareness Now of how to effectively tap into the individual power within. Her passion is helping others connect with their passion, to design, develop, and package their divine gifts and talents to advance humanity. She believes that every individual has been given divine gifts and talents that are vital to the survival of our being.

She accepts the assignment to assist as many as possible with maximizing their potential to contribute to society with the highest enthusiasm and effectiveness. She knows that we are interdependent and therefore rely on the success of others to increase our own success. She expressed the importance of Obedience, Respect, Unity, Dignity and Modesty to accomplishing your goals in her first book "Why I Wear my Headpiece."
