As a showcase speaker, Roz Harris might appear an unlikely role model. Two years ago she was beyond broke - all her stuff was in storage and she was living with her 83-year-old great aunt, questioning whether she should just find a job and give up her dreams.

Instead, Coach Roz did something drastic. She invested in herself.

Now, Coach Roz is the largest minority owner and managing partner in a growing company, investing more than $150,000 and developing a joint venture between the company and with her private corporation. And she's an in-demand motivational speaker, passionate about helping people.

What made the difference? Was it the MBA from a top-ten business school? Was it the certifications in human resources and professional coaching? Was it the corporate work experience with three Fortune 500 companies like Goldman Sachs, Procter & Gamble and Eli Lilly? Was it the international assignment working in emerging financial services market?

All those helped, but they didn't create Coach Roz's turnaround. What ignited the transformation from a zero to six-figure investor, from sleeping on a sofa to living in her own home, from job hunting to running a growing corporation?

She started her comeback with a 3-Step Plan, and now she feels compelled to share her secrets of success with audiences across the country.

She realized that she didn't know that there were companies out there that would pay her to speak, book her travel arrangements, do all the marketing to get people to show up - and guarantee her to not lose money. In fact, when she learned how to effectively deliver training and speaking, she could make a boat load of money each time she showed up. These companies exist! She wants to share her secret to success and... the secret world of getting paid to speak without the hassle of marketing or advertising or humping/laboring/gambling to get butts in the seats.

Roz was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Lakewood, NJ. She graduated magna cum laude from Florida A & M University's School of Business and Industry, and cum laude from The Darden School of Business, University of Virginia. Later she earned an SPHR Certification from The Human Resources Institute and PCC Certification from the International Coaching Federation.

She spent 13 years in corporate America, and then launched her independent ventures that evolved into her successful private corporation.
