Dr. Brian L. Bolden, a native Atlantan is the founder and president of The REACH Empowerment Foundation. REACH is an acronym for Rendering Encouragement and Changing Hearts; the hallmark of his company's mission. Dr. Bolden, a John Maxwell certified leadership development coach, motivational speaker, educational consultant, and former high school principal believes in his vintage philosophy, "You were born for two reasons, to do great things and greater things". Dr. Bolden conducts workshops on empowering parents, developing leadership skills in students, training teachers on differentiating instruction, and turning low performing schools into high performing schools. He also does corporate leadership coaching, speaks to business organizations and community service programs, and most of all enjoys helping anyone who feels that they are "stuck in life".

Dr. Bolden used many of the painful challenges he personally had to face and overcome as a struggling student to motivate himself to achieve success. The same strategies he used as a student, he later used to teach middle and high school students that led to their success and his being named Teacher of the Year. As his desire to help more struggling students increased, he became a high school girls basketball coach, worked with legendary basketball coach Pat Summit (University of Tennessee), became a mentor, an assistant principal, and high school principal.

Dr. Bolden experienced tremendous success as principal of Stephenson High School as evidenced by his senior classes averaging over 15 million dollars in scholarship offers and the extraordinary graduation rate that was 30 points higher than the national average. Dr. Bolden received a Proclamation from the Mayor of Lithonia proclaiming May 16, 2010 as "Dr. Bolden Day" for his help in creating an atmosphere of high expectations which contributed to the school's tremendous success.

In 2012, Dr. Bolden received tremendous recognition from US News & World Report naming Stephenson High School as the 35th Best High School in the state of Georgia out of 466 high schools. He was selected to serve on a panel at Agnes Scott University with representatives from the office of the U. S. Secretary of Education to address some of the challenges facing urban high school students and strategies to solve many of these challenges.

Dr. Bolden, a noted author published his first book on the subject of Differentiated Instruction - a guide for helping teachers achieve unprecedented results in the classroom. His second book is entitled, "The Power of Your Reflection", a book on helping young people develop their greatness. His newest book, "30 Secrets of Successful Leaders" is scheduled for release in July of 2013. In addition, he has produced several powerful motivational DVDs and CDs and created a blog on his website for parents, teachers, and students to help find answers to difficult issues. Dr. Bolden is married to his high school sweetheart, Mrs. Roni Bolden and they are the proud parents of one daughter, Briana Simone Bolden.
