Dr. Anthony L. Gantt is a native of Chicago IL. He was raised on the south side of the city. He was considered an average child who was raised in an average home, in an average neighborhood. After living an average life, Anthony knew that it had to be more than "just being average". That's when the quest began for him to not be average.

Dr. Anthony L. Gantt has served in the United States Navy, and he has an honorable discharge, and a proud veteran of that branch. While in the navy he learned skills that helped him as a young man decide how to take on the responsibility of a successful leader of people. He also learned some very important sales skills as a reserve recruiter with the U.S. Navy. This was the beginning for him in the realization of how important education is in everything, and he started taking classes and 20 years later acquired is Ph.D. in business administration. During that time period he obtained many other certifications, and designations.

Dr. Anthony L. Gantt received his license as a real-estate professional 1990, which he held for over 20 years. It was during this time Dr. Gantt learned more sales skills, as well as business, and finance skills that helped him become a very successful real-estate professional within 5 years, and remained that way for many years after.

Dr. Anthony L. Gantt has been speaking to audiences since 1989 on personal development, and people skills. He has spoken to over 3000 audiences from different age groups, genders, races, religions, and financial backgrounds. He became a fixture in the speaking industry and has had the opportunity to help thousands of people around the country become better people, and do better. He has spoken on several topics such as self-esteem, team building, real-estate, public speaking, goal setting, conquering procrastination, book writing, personal finance, business, and personal development.

Dr. Anthony L. Gantt is a keynote speaker, a corporate trainer, a business consultant, a personal development coach, as well as a professional speaker. He has trained many other people to do the same. He is called by many as simply "The teacher".
