Darbi Alexander is not shy to the music industry scene as a singer and songwriter. As an uplifting and sincere entertainer, with the gift and ability of songwriting in the some of Atlanta's hot underground spots, she has been heard performing in places such as: Apache Cafe, Cafe 290, Smithe's Old Bar, Eddie's Attic and many other local spots. She was selected as the winner of Atlanta's Who's Got That Vibe in 2008. Dominique Mitchell, an artist developer (who's worked with such great artists as Destiny's Child, Kim Scherzinger of the Pussy Cat Dolls, Total, TLC, and many other artists) quickly noticed Darbi Alexander's talent and invited her to participate in an intensive artist development training program designed to specifically develop her talents to flourish and become an International and professional singer. After completing her artist development training, she posted a video on YouTube singing a cover song, in less than one week the video generated over 35,000 video hits worldwide.

Darbi Alexander was born in Nashville, TN but was reared most of her primary years in South Georgia. So that Darbi and her younger brother could be exposed to many successful African Americans, her mother moved the family to the Atlanta area where Darbi graduated from Cobb County Center of Excellence in Performing Arts at Pebblebrook High School. There she excelled in academics thus winning the Atlanta Journal Constitution's Best All Around Senior and many scholarship awards from different colleges. Wanting to return to her birth state for college, she accepted the scholarship from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville where she graduated as Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and International Business.

Darbi AlexanderWhile at college, her major accomplishment was not earning a full academic scholarship to attend college or the other top accolades, it was starting a non-profit organization with her best friends, "Restoring the Streets," to feed and clothe the homeless. The organization was such a huge success with over 400 volunteers, college students' savings and donations they served over 3,000 meals during her last 2 years in college. This in itself was the most rewarding, being able to give back to the community.

After graduating from college, Darbi decided to be a full time entrepreneur and take the leap of faith to start her own business, a financial consulting firm that has serviced and helped many clients manage their finances, eliminate debt, and repair their credit. Currently she can be heard giving out uplifting financial information from her "I Am Free" seminar series, "live" every Friday on Love 860 AM radio to over 5.1 million people. The "call of music" has never left her life and it once again rose up in her life, this time through her Pastor at El Elyon International Church where she is part of the praise and worship team for the ministry. Darbi credits God for all of the accomplishments she has experienced and is very thankful for the grace and future opportunities that will allow her to positively influence the world!
